Santa Monica Surfing School

We teach you on safe sand bottom beaches with waves ideally suited for learning.  We will supply you with soft foam boards and wetsuits.  All you need to bring is sunscreen and a towel! 

Surfing lessons start on the beach where you will be instructed on safety, technique and water etiquette. Then your instructor will accompany you or your children into the water, keeping you safe and guiding you into waves. Before you know it you will be up and riding.

We also can accommodate larger groups for parties and corporate events.

PRICING

2 People  90 per person for a 2-hour private lesson  Cost $180

3 People  80 per person for a 2-hour private lesson  Cost $240 (each additional person $75 per person)

6 People or more $65 per person.

Directions:  Most lessons are taught at Santa Monica Beach at Lifeguard Station No. 20.  This is about 50 yards south of the Shutter's Hotel on the Beach and less than a 1/4 mile south of Santa Monica Pier. You can mapquest or google Shutter's address: 1 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90405 

Directions from the 10 Freeway West toward Santa Monica are  Exit at 4th Street Exit, Make a Left, then Make a Right at Pico Blvd.  Continue west on Pico which will end in 4 blocks at a stop sign in front of the Shutter's Hotel on the beach.   Make a left at the stop sign and to 1 block up the hill, once you pass the Casa Del Mar Hotel you will see the parking lot, and to your right on the beach is life guard station 20.  We will meet you in the parking lot.
